Our history
To beat around the bush: It all began with a marketing woman, a chef, their first child, and the question of whether delicious baby and children's food couldn't be made without lots of sugar and mysterious ingredients. It could, first their own children confirmed, then the children of friends, and later the children of their friends, and so on...

As cheerful Rhinelanders born and raised in Bonn/Cologne, connected to the river and the earth, we appreciate what the region has to offer – from Flönz to potatoes – and want to pass this on to our children not only in their cradles, but also in their baby food jars. That's why we've used the weekly markets in and around Bonn to offer you baby food made with heart and soul in Germany's first healthy children's snack bar. And it's been a resounding success!

Maximiliane Hebborn-Ravikumaran - CEO & Founder
Maxi, our founder, is a mother of two and once a veteran of the international management world. Becoming a mom gave her firsthand experience of the challenges of modern parenthood and she decided it was time for a change.
Maxi launched POPPEDITZJE in May 2021 as the first healthy baby and children's snack bar at a Bonn weekly market. With the goal of providing parents with a reliable solution for high-quality children's meals, she and her team are working hard to fulfill this promise to support families in their everyday lives.
Nirosan Ravikumaran - Chef & Product Development
Nirosan is the culinary artist behind our dishes. His passion for cooking brought him to us. As an experienced chef with a flair for flavors and presentation, he plays a key role in our product development. Nirosan's goal is to conjure heartfelt, homemade quality into every jar of Poppeditzje, so parents can be confident their children are getting only the best.
Dr. Anastasia Pyanova - Nutrition Expert
Anastasia is a scientist and mother of two. She specializes in biochemical and molecular biological processes in the body and shares her knowledge to improve our dishes. Ana brings credibility and expertise to our team, so parents can rest assured that their children are receiving the best possible care.

Konrad, our organic chef, is a true expert in organic food. His many years of experience in the food industry have given him a wealth of knowledge and an impressive network. He works closely with us to ensure that our dishes are not only delicious, but also organic and sustainable.

Annalena is an experienced media manager with a deep understanding of social media and marketing.
